Using a questionnaire template

Access templates created by industry experts that are updated to reflect current regulatory and legal requirements. Each template includes a description, including the expert who provided it, and when it was last updated. You can send any template directly to Questionnaire Manager to customize it, so you don't need to start from scratch.

Prerequisites

The Template Bank is available for customers enrolled in the Diligent Board and Leadership Collaboration package. Contact your Customer Success Manager for assistance.

Select a template

  1. Go to your Questionnaire dashboard and select Go to Template Bank.

    The Template Bank opens on Questionnaire Templates.

  2. Browse the questionnaire templates.

    You can filter templates by Language or Provider.

  3. To view a template, select Preview.

    You won't be able to edit the template in preview.

  4. Select the template you want to use.

    The Send to Questionnaire Manager dialog opens.

  5. Review the information in the Details tab.

    The questionnaire name and description fields are prefilled, but can be edited.

  6. Select the Groups tab to choose which groups or committees will receive the questionnaire.

  7. Configure the group or committee access.

    1. No access: Members of the group do not have access to the questionnaire.

    2. Read Only: Members of the group can view and complete the questionnaire.

    3. Can edit: Administrators of the group can edit a questionnaire and grant access to other group members.

      Note

      At least one group must have Can Edit permissions to proceed to the next step.

  8. Select the User tab to choose who the questionnaire will be sent to.

  9. Select Send.

    The template is sent to Questionnaire Manager.

  10. To edit the template content and properties, select Go to Questionnaire Manager in the Template sent notification. To learn more, go to Managing questionnaires.
