Managing tabs

This topic explains how to reorder, edit, and delete book tabs and subtabs to suit the format and content of the meeting.

Note

A tab can only have a maximum of 3 subtabs.

Agenda-only tabs can be placed inside other agenda-only tabs but they cannot be placed inside tabs that are not agenda-only.

Auto-agenda tabs can only exist at the parent level. They cannot be placed as subtabs.

Reorder a tab using the mouse

  1. Hover the mouse over a tab header row until a Drag icon appears.

  2. Drag the tab to its new location and release it. The available locations are highlighted by a dotted borderline.

Reorder a tab using the keyboard

  1. Select the Tab menu on its header row and choose Move to.

    A Move panel appears. The available locations are highlighted by a dotted borderline.

  2. Use the Tab key to reach the destination and press Enter to select it. The dotted borderline of the new location then changes to a solid borderline.

  3. Use the Tab key to reach the Move here button.

  4. Press Enter to select the Move here button and complete the move.

Edit a tab

  1. Select the Tab menu on its header row.

  2. Select Tab properties. You can edit items such as the tab title, presenter, or description.

  3. When finished editing, select Update.

Delete a tab

  1. Select the Tab menu on its header row.

  2. Select Delete tab. This will also delete any documents and subtabs within the tab.
