Approving files
Content must be in an "Approved" state to be visible to directors, even when a book is published. You can change the status of a single file to Approved or you can approve all the documents in a book at once.
Change the status of a file to Approved
The default status of files is "Not approved". You can take the following steps to approve them.
-
From the Bookshelf, select Edit on a book's row.
You are taken to the Build book tab.
Any existing tabs or sub tabs are displayed.
-
Select the arrow
next to a tab or sub tab.
The tab expands, and you can view files.
-
Select Approve on right side of the file's row.
The status changes from "Not approved" to "Approved".
Approve all files in a book at once
When you have multiple files in the "Not approved" state, you can quickly change their status to "Approved" to make the files visible.
-
From the Build book tab, select the more options icon
on the top of the screen.
A list of options appears.
-
Select Approve all.
The status of every file changes from "Not approved" to "Approved".
