New user interface

The new ACL AI Studio interface introduces an updated, AI‑native design with the following benefits:

  • Streamlines navigation and dataset management so you can start and resume analyses faster.

  • Lowers the barrier to advanced analytics by emphasizing natural language, guided AI, and a clearer layout.

  • Increases adoption across teams by making it easier for non‑technical users to start and reuse analyses from a single, intuitive workspace.

  • Preserves auditability and trust through lineage and structured feedback loops on AI‑generated results.

  • Aligns the look and feel with other Diligent One applications.

Key improvements

  • Simplified dataset creation

    • You can create a dataset by adding a name (mandatory) and description (optional).

    • After creation, you are taken directly into the new dataset with guidance to upload data and begin analysis.

  • AI-native navigation The new navigation model helps you move efficiently between datasets, analyses, and other modules in ACL AI Studio. The main workspace now displays AI‑related features such as analyses, suggestions, and analysis history more prominently.

  • New analysis workspace and AI suggestions The new analysis workspace centers around an AI chat experience.

    • You can start new analyses using natural language prompts instead of SQL query.

    • For every AI‑generated result, you can view the processing states and final outputs.

    • You can regenerate results to run the same instructions again when something fails.

  • Inline feedback controls Each AI response includes inline thumbs‑up and thumbs-down so you can quickly rate the result quality. You can also use the feedback panel to select a satisfaction level and add comments.

What stays the same

  • The core ACL AI Studio concepts such as datasets, analyses, source tables, output tables, and data lineage remain unchanged.

  • The app continues to:

    • Support large datasets and complex analyses.

    • Maintain data lineage and robust logging so work can be audited.

Accessing the new UI

  1. On the ACL AI Studio home page, toggle New UI.

  2. In the Switch to the new ACL AI Studio pop-up dialog, select Yes.

    To switch back to the old UI, from the left navigation on the new UI, toggle Switch to old UI.

    3. Note

    You can switch back to the old UI until June 30, 2026. Starting July 1, 2026, the new UI will be the only available experience.
