Working with organizational units
When you have added organizational units, you can optimize viewing and managing them.
Table options
By default, organizational units you create are listed in a table on the home page.
Select a column name to sort the column's data in ascending or descending order.
Add members to an organizational unit
You can add Diligent One Platform users as members to a specific organizational unit.

From the Platform home page (www.diligentoneplatform.com) left-hand navigation menu, select Platform Settings, and from the Organization management section, select OrgStructure.

From the list, select the organizational unit to which you want to add a member.

On the org unit details panel, in the Members section, select + Add.

From the list of Diligent One Platform users that appears, select the add icon next to the user that you want to add.
You can select as many users as you want to add.

Select Save and add.
Visualize hierarchies
You can view and comprehend your organization's structure to manage assignments, reporting lines, and access permissions.

From the Platform home page (www.diligentoneplatform.com) left-hand navigation menu, select Platform Settings, and from the Organization management section, select OrgStructure.

From the list, select the organizational unit for which you want to view the hierarchy.

In the org unit details panel, select Visualize.

(Optional) Select an entity in the chart to view more information about the entity.

(Optional) Select Export to PDF to export the chart as an image into a PDF. If an entity is selected in the chart before you export the chart, the exported image retains the selection.
Filter organizational units in the lists
The organizational units you create are displayed in lists on different pages. You can filter lists to work with a subset of organizational units based on their availability.

From the Platform home page (www.diligentoneplatform.com) left-hand navigation menu, select Platform Settings, and from the Organization management section, select OrgStructure.

Select Filter.
By default, the side panel displays a name filter. -
Select an operator. Depending on the type of filter (Name, Parent, Type, or Country), ones or more of the following operators are available:

Contains Shows all organizational units that contain the defined criteria.

Does not contain Shows all organizational units that do not contain the defined criteria.
-
Starts with Shows all organizational units that start with the defined criteria, such as a letter.
-
Ends with Shows all organizational units that end with the defined criteria.
-
Is equal to Shows all organizational units that exactly match the defined criteria.
-
Is not equal to Shows all organizational units that do not match the defined criteria.
-
Is empty Shows all organizational units that do not have any information about the defined criteria.
-
Is not empty Shows all organizational units for which there is information about the defined criteria.

Enter or select the filter criteria, and then select Apply. Filter criteria differ based on the type of filter.
The filtered results display on the right. -
(Optional) To add another filter, select Add filter and repeat steps 3 and 4.
Note
To delete a single filter, select the Delete icon to the right of the filter in the panel. To clear all filters, select Reset filters.
Selecting Reset filters removes all added filters and displays the Name filter in its default state.
If you have at least two filters, select And or Or. And is selected by default.

If you select And, results match all filters.

If you select Or, results match any filter.

Select Apply.
Edit an organizational unit
You can update data for an organizational unit when its information changes.

From the Platform home page (www.diligentoneplatform.com) left-hand navigation menu, select Platform Settings, and from the Organization management section, select OrgStructure.

From the list of organizational units, select the organization that you want to edit.

In the details panel, select Edit.

Edit the information as needed, and then select Next.

Select Save changes.
Remove a member from an organizational unit

From the Platform home page (www.diligentoneplatform.com) left-hand navigation menu, select Platform Settings, and from the Organization management section, select OrgStructure.

From the list, select the organizational unit from which you want to remove a member.

On the org unit details panel, in the Members section, from the list of users, select the delet icon next to the name of the member that you want to remove, and then select Remove.
Delete an organizational unit
You can delete an organizational unit you no longer need.

From the Platform home page (www.diligentoneplatform.com) left-hand navigation menu, select Platform Settings, and from the Organization management section, select OrgStructure.

From the list of organizational units, select the organization that you want to delete.

In the panel, select Delete.

If applicable, select an action for child nodes. If a parent organizational unit you want to delete has child nodes, you can either delete the child nodes or move them to a new parent group.

Select Delete on the confirmation dialog.
