Getting started with AI Reporting
Opening AI Reporting
To open the app:

From the Platform home page (www.diligentoneplatform.com), select the AI Reporting app to open it.
If you are already in Diligent One, you can use the left-hand navigation menu to switch to the AI Reporting app.
The app opens to the New report page.
Navigating the app
The side navigation provides access to all areas of AI Reporting.
| Section | Purpose |

| New report | Start a new report from a template or a natural language prompt. |
| Reports | View, search, and manage all your published reports in your organization and your own drafts. |
| Data sources | Browse connected data sources and manage self-uploaded files. |
| Workstreams | Access your active report conversations. Each report you generate creates a workstream, listed here with its name and last-updated timestamp. |
| Settings | (Admin only) Manage user access and permissions for your organization. View, search, and add users with Author role. |
Note
The side navigation collapses to icon-only when you are inside an active workstream, giving more space to the conversation area. Select any icon to navigate.
Understanding workstreams
A workstream is an interactive conversation thread between you and the Diligent Assistant. Each time you generate a report whether from a template or custom prompt, a new workstream is created automatically.
What happens in a workstream:
- Your initial prompt or template selection appears in the conversation.
- The Diligent Assistant generates the report and displays it for review.
- You can refine the report by asking follow-up questions or requesting changes in the same thread.
- All refinements maintain context from previous messages.
Workstream lifespan:
- Active workstreams are listed under the Workstreams section with a message count.
- Workstreams persist even after you complete a report, allowing you to return and continue refining.
- The most recent 20 messages in a workstream are retained. Earlier messages may be removed as the conversation grows.
After report generation:
- After you finish refining, you can Download the report as a PDF, Preview it in the app, or Publish it to the Reports section for organization visibility.
- The workstream remains accessible in the Workstreams list for future reference or additional refinement.
