Managing data sources

Data sources provide the underlying data that AI Reporting uses to generate report content. Sources include native Diligent One Platform connectors and self-uploaded files.

Viewing available data sources

Select Data sources in the side navigation to see all sources available to your organization. Sources are grouped by provider.

Data pulled from native platform connectors automatically inherits your existing Row-Level Security (RLS) permissions and access privileges. You only see the underlying records that you are authorized to view.

Provider Notes
Risk Manager Connected automatically from your Diligent One Platform instance.
Results Data from the Results App, available in your organization. Results provides real-time access to your Results data within AI Reporting.
Self uploads CSV files uploaded by you. Visible only to you and not shared with other users.

Selecting data sources during report creation

When creating or customizing a report, the Diligent Assistant presents a Data sources card with suggested sources. To adjust the selection before confirming:

  1. Select Browse data source in the Data sources card. A side sheet opens listing all available sources grouped by provider.

  2. Select individual datasets or use Select all to include all datasets from a provider.

  3. Select Add data source to confirm your selection and close the side sheet.

  4. Select Confirm in the conversation thread to proceed with report generation.

Uploading a CSV file

Authors can upload their own data as a CSV file. Uploaded files are private, and only the uploader can use them in reports.

Note

Ensure that the uploaded CSV file is UTF-8 encoded and does not exceed a maximum file size of 5 MB.

  1. Select Data sources in the side navigation.

  2. Under Self uploads, select Upload.

  3. Select your CSV file and confirm the upload. The file appears in the Self uploads list and is available for selection when creating reports.
