Reviewing and refining reports

After AI Reporting generates a report, preview the output, ask follow-up questions to refine it, and export it to PDF.

Previewing a report

Select Preview in the conversation thread to open the report in a preview modal. The preview renders the full report as it will appear when published, including any charts, tables, and AI-generated narrative.

Close the preview modal to return to the workstream conversation and continue refining.

Continuing the conversation

Each generated report remains in its workstream where you can ask follow-up questions to adjust the content, add sections, or request different visualizations. Type your follow-up in the prompt input and submit. For example, ask the AI to "Make the executive summary shorter" or "Filter the control chart to only show exceptions".

Note

Conversation history in a workstream is capped at the last 20 messages during EAP. Older messages are no longer available to the assistant as context.

Downloading a report

Download any generated report as a formatted PDF suitable for board distribution. Other formats (for example, DOCX and PPT) are planned for the post-EAP general availability release.

  1. Open the report preview by selecting Preview in the conversation thread, or from Reports.

  2. Select Download.

The PDF is generated and downloaded to your device. The PDF preserves all report sections, visualizations, and narrative as rendered in the preview.

Publishing a report

Publishing makes a report visible to all users in your organization in Reports.

Note

Publishing does not immediately send email or push notifications to your organization colleagues. They simply gain interactive visibility over the content from their Reports view.

  1. Preview the report to confirm it is ready.

  2. Select Publish.

After publishing, the report appears in Reports for all users. If you later edit a published report, a confirmation modal appears informing you that the report will revert to a draft and will be removed from Reports until you publish again.
