Viewing dashboard reporting on the home page

Dashboard reporting on the home page gives you a board-ready view of your organization's risk posture in AI Risk Essentials. Use it to review overall risk exposure, identify priority risks, and export a summary for leadership discussions.

Understanding the dashboard sections

The Risk assessment overview section combines charts and a prioritized list so you can review risk data from different angles.

  • Risk score This summary shows how many risks fall into each severity band, from Very low to Very high.

  • Impact and Likelihood This heatmaps shows where risks fall based on their current impact and likelihood scores.

  • Category distribution This risk category distribution shows how risks are distributed across your organization's configured risk categories. If your organization has more than eight categories, the remaining categories appear under Other.

  • Risk workflow status This distribution shows how many risks are in each status, such as Draft, Unassessed, In Progress, and Assessed.

  • Prioritized risk This list shows only the top 10 risks. If you want to filter within all of their risks, you can do it by selecting Risk Library > Risk Tab.

Note

The prioritized risk list uses the saved risk score. If a risk score was adjusted manually, the list uses the saved value instead of recalculating it from the current impact and likelihood values.

Reviewing risks by category and status

Use the category and status charts to focus on a subset of risks without leaving the home page.

  • Select a category Select a bar or chart segment in Risk category distribution to focus on risks in that category.

  • Select a status Select a segment in Risk status distribution to focus on risks in that status.

  • Open a risk Select a risk name in the prioritized list to open the full risk record.

Understanding the prioritized risk list

The prioritized risk list helps you review the most important risks first. The list includes the following columns:

  • Risk name Opens the selected risk.

  • Risk ID Shows the unique identifier for the risk.

  • Risk status Shows the current workflow status.

  • Mitigation status Shows the current progress of the mitigation plan.

  • Impact score Shows the current impact rating.

  • Likelihood score Shows the current likelihood rating.

  • Risk score Shows the saved overall score used for prioritization. The score is based on impact and likelihood, but if a score was manually adjusted, the saved adjusted value is used.

  • Risk category Shows the assigned risk category.

  • Risk owner Shows the assigned owner.

  • Assessment date Shows the most recent assessment date.

Use the available filters to narrow the list by risk category or risk status. If your organization has many risks, the list is split across multiple pages.
