Navigating the Assessments app

Learn about the key interface features of the Assessment app, designed to streamline your workflows and processes.

Home page

The Assessments app offers an interactive interface for managing your assigned activities. These activities are assigned to you from various sources, such as project modules and risk management systems.

Accessing your assigned activities

You can open and manage your activities in the following two ways:

  • Dashboard navigation Select either Activities or Completed from the app dashboard menu.

  • Email notifications Use the direct links in the notification emails to access your assigned activities in the app.

    Note

    You will receive an email notification with a link to the app to begin the assessment process. This may include a single assessment or multiple assessments in bulk, each with different headlines for the same activity. For bulk notifications, all links are provided in one email.

Activities dashboard

The Activities dashboard shows all your activities in one place. You can complete them without switching pages.

The split-screen view enables you to track, manage, and complete activities efficiently within a single view. By default, activities are shown as cards and sorted by their most recent edit date. You can also use the:

  • Search bar and filter to find a specific card by activity types.

  • Refresh button to update the dashboards with the most recent activity status.

The view is divided into two panels for quick access and task execution:

  • Left panel Displays all activities assigned to you as cards. Each card represents activity type and its creation details. Select a card to open its associated workflow.

  • Right panel Dynamically renders relevant information such as tasks, forms, or workflows based on your selection. This allows you to take quick action without leaving the main view. (Optional) Select the enlarge icon to maximize your view.

Completed dashboard

The Completed dashboard shows all activities you have submitted or completed with their completion status and creation date. In this dashboard, you can:

  • Search Locate completed activities by type, such as questionnaires. The search function lets you enter keywords to find matches within the title, description, or ID.

  • Filter Narrow down your activities by activity type.

  • Refresh Update the dashboard to reflect the latest activity status.

Marking a task as complete confirms the action and transitions the activity from Assigned to Completed status.

Note
  • For Actions and Request activities, only users assigned the Owner role can reopen completed tasks.

  • To protect against security risks and ensure system stability, the search bar does not allow characters \, +, -, &, |, !, (), {}, [], ^, ~, *, ?, and : .

User roles and permissions

Contributors Owners
  • Have limited access

  • Can complete the tasks

    Note

    Currently, only users with the Owner role have permission to close Actions. Users with the Contributor role cannot complete them.

  • Have full control over tasks, including the ability to:

    • Mark tasks as complete.

    • Manage notifications.

    • Delete or reopen actions.

  • Can launch tasks directly in the corresponding applications

Manage notifications and delete activities

From the More options icon,

  • Select Manage Notifications.
    An actionable pop-up appears.

    1. Select or clear checkboxes for audit purposes.

    2. (Optional) Add one or more email addresses to receive copies of the notification setup.

  • Select Delete.
    An actionable pop-up appears to confirm the delete action.
