Editing and managing audit and audit scope
This section describes how to edit and manage audit and audits scope.
Edit audit details

From the Audit planning screen table view or timeline view select the audit name to open the side panel.

From the audit’s side panel, edit the details like name, description, start/end date, and budgeted hours.
From the side panel you can also select the Open in new tab button (bottom right). The new tab exposes all audit details for editing. Any changes made here are reflected in the audit plan.

Select Done.
You can also open audits from the Audit Home page.

From the Audit planning tile, select Go to audit planning.

Select the Audits tab.

From the Audits column, select the audit's Name.
Edit the audit scope
You can edit an audit's scope (include/exclude auditable entities).

From the Audit planning page, select the Edit scope button.
If there are no linked auditable entities, the button name is Include auditable entity.

From the Edit scope window, select to toggle auditable entities to Included/Not included.
You include a Not Included active auditable entity by selecting its toggle (the In scope status changes to Included). You can also exclude included auditable entities.

Select Done. The app returns to the Add Audit screen. The Scoped auditable entity table displays the Auditable entity name for each included auditable entity. The Include auditable entity button is replaced with the Edit scope button.
Linked project
You can link an existing project defined in the Projects app to an audit. By linking projects to audits, you can track the progress and status of audit-related activities within the context of a project and ensure that all issues are addressed within the project timeline.
Edit a project link

From the Audit planning overview page, select the Audits tab.

Select the audit name to which you want to link project.
The audit opens in a full page view.

Select the Edit link button.

On the Link Project page, from the list of non-archived projects, select the project that you want to link to your audit.

You can only link projects that are active in the Projects app.

The names in the list of projects are clickable links that open the related project in a new browser tab.

Select Done.
Unlink a project
You can unlink existing projects defined in the Projects app from an audit.

From the Audit planning overview page, select the Audits tab.

Select the audit name to open it in a full page view.

Select the more options icon next to the Edit link button.

Select Unlink.
