Settings

Use the Settings page to add and define the following components of your audit risk assessment:

  • Assessment factors

  • Scales

You can access settings in the following two ways:

  • Go to the Home page and select Settings from the right corner.

  • From any page with the Audit app, select Settings on the left navigation bar.

Add assessment factors

  1. Open the Settings page.

    By default the Assessment factors tab opens.

  2. Select Add assessment factor to add assessment factors.

  3. In the Add assessment factor side panel, enter a name for the assessment factor, and select Add assessment factor.

  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to continue adding assessment factors.

  5. Select X in the upper-right corner to close the panel.

Note

  • At least one assessment factor is required to create an audit risk assessment.

  • You can come back to add assessment factors during the audit risk assessment workflow.

Define assessment scale

You use the default scale to rate the risk level assessment factors pose to each auditable entity. You can select the Low- to High-risk or the Very low- to Very high-risk default scale for a given audit risk assessment.

Note

The scale defined in Settings becomes the default option at the organization level (the scale used when creating new audit risk assessments). However, you can override the Add audit risk assessment workflow.

Define the default scale

  1. On the Settings page, select Scales to define the default scale.

  2. To change the default scale, select the other scale's radio button.

Edit assessment factors

  1. Select Settings > Assessment factors tab.

  2. Select the More options icon in-line with the assessment factor and select Edit.

    The Edit assessment factor side panel opens and advises that the changes will be applied everywhere the assessment factor is used.

  3. Edit the assessment factor.

Note

The Audit app automatically saves the selected scores.

Delete assessment factors

  1. Select Settings > Assessment factors tab.

  2. Select More options icon in-line with the assessment factor and select Delete.

    The Delete assessment factor dialog box displays.

  3. Select Delete.

Bulk delete assessment factors

  1. Select Settings > Assessment factors tab.

  2. Select the checkboxes in line with the Assessment factors to delete.

    The Delete selected option displays.

  3. Select Delete selected.

  4. Select Delete.

Search assessment factors

  1. Select Settings > Assessment factors tab.

  2. In the Search by ID or name field, enter the assessment factor name to find previously entered Assessment factors.
