Creating a BoardEffect user category

The user category helps you classify users by categories that you define. For more information about viewing the user category in the directory, review the organizing the directory by user category article. This topic describes how to create a new user category.

  1. To access your formatting options, select Site Settings , and then select Manage Users.

  2. Select the User Categories tab on top of the page.

  3. To add a new category, select +New Category on the top right side.

  4. In the New Category dialog box, enter a name in the Title field.

  5. Select Save.

  6. To add users to the new user category, expand the section, and then select Add/Remove Users.
