Managing events from the BoardEffect home page
From the Events section on your BoardEffect home page, you can access, review, and manage events including your upcoming events and calendar of events. An indicator next to Events displays the number of upcoming events. While System Admins can access all events while board members can view only events that are relevant to them.
This section has the following components:

Open calendar Select to open the calendar that displays past, current, and upcoming events. This option appears even when there is no future event that you need to review.

Select the Year, Month, Week, or Day tab to filter and update your calendar view.

Select a calendar entry to navigate to that meeting or event.

If there are more entries than can be shown in a time or date period then select the arrow icon to expand the period in a separate panel.

Export all Select the dropdown menu to export events or subscribe to events. You'll see this option even when you have no upcoming events.

Event card Displays the details of an upcoming event. On an event card, you can do the following:

Select Open book, or Open books if there are multiple books, to open the Meeting Book Viewer page.
Note
If you have not opened this book before, you must download it to access it for the first time.

Select the Export dropdown menu to export the event to Outlook or Google calendar.

Select Book builder to update the meeting book. Only System Admins and editors can update a meeting book.

Select the More options icon
to add attachments to an event, as well as to edit, copy, or delete the event.
