Viewing book content

To open a book and view content like a director would see it, go to the Review book tab while editing a book. You can also open the director view.

How it works

Administrators prepare for board meetings by collecting materials from across the organization and uploading it into a book. While the administrator is building a book, they can view content like a board member would see it in the Review book tab or by opening the director view. After publishing a book, admins can continue editing book content and return to the Review book tab anytime to see their changes.

The Review book tab

This section describes how to view book content in the Review book tab.

1. From the Platform home page (www.diligentoneplatform.com), select the Boards app to open it.

   If you are already in Diligent One, you can use the left-hand navigation menu to switch to the Boards app.

   You are taken to the Bookshelf.

2. Select a book title or Edit on the book's row.

   You are taken to the Build book tab.

   Any existing tabs or sub tabs are displayed.

3. Select the Review book tab to open the page view.

   From the page view, you can navigate the book like a director and open documents or other meeting materials in the center of the screen.

The director view

This section describes how to open the director view to experience Boards like directors and other executives.

1. Select Open in director view on top of the screen from anywhere in the Boards app.

   You are taken to the Home page.

2. Select a book's row to see more details.

3. Select Open to go to the page view.

   From the page view, you can navigate the book like a director and open documents or other meeting materials in the center of the screen.
