General settings
The General settings enable you to set time zones and configure settings for organization, policy URL, Boxcast, YouTube, and reminder emails for pending agenda items.
Organization

From the left navigation menu, select Settings > General settings.

On the General settings page, expand Organization.

Enter the following details:

Organization name: In this field, enter your organization name. The name appears at the top left corner of the page. It also appears on the public site in the Home section.

Organization address: In this field, add the organization address.

Customer website URL: In this field, enter the URL of your organization.

Select Save.
Manage the default letterhead template

On the General settings page, expand Default Letterhead template.

To edit the template, select the default letterhead template file, and select Edit.

Optional: To replace the template, select the More options icon
, select Replace, and select the template from your files to be the replacement template. -
Make your edits and select Save.

Optional: To delete the template, select the More options icon
and select Delete.
Policy URL
If the organization has an external public policy provider, it can be added.

On the General settings page, expand Policy URL.

In the Policy URL link field, enter the policy URL.

Select Save.

Select the Launch icon
to launch the link. The link opens in a new window.

The next time you reload Diligent Community, the Policy icon will appear in the sidebar. Select the icon to go to the policy site. The policy link will also appear at the top of the public site for public users.
Set time zone
Admins can set their site time zone for your site and hour to send reminder notifications.

On the General settings page, expand Set time zone.

From the Site time zone dropdown menu, select the relevant time zone for the site.

From the Notification hour dropdown menu, select the hour the notification will be sent.
Notification hour is when notifications are sent out for approval reminders and meeting subscriber notifications, and it determines when any release-delayed meeting becomes publicly available.

From the Notification period dropdown menu, select AM or PM.

Select Save.
Boxcast settings
Boxcast settings are available only with the add-on Video Manager HD Powered by Boxcast. If your organization has this add-on, you will be able to add in or update the related credentials.

On the General settings page, expand Boxcast settings.

In the API Key field, enter the API key.

In the API Secret field, enter the API secret.

Select Validate Credentials to save your API settings.

Select Save.
YouTube settings
YouTube settings are available only with the add-on Video Manager HD Powered by Boxcast. If your organization has this add-on, you will be able to add in or update the related credentials.

On the General settings page, expand YouTube settings.
-
Select Add Credentials.
-
Select Save.
Notification settings
User admins can manage reminder email notifications for pending agenda item approvals for an organization.

Select the Send reminder email checkbox to allow automatic reminder emails for pending agenda item approvals.

Deselect the Send reminder email checkbox to prevent reminder emails for pending agenda item approvals.
