Appoint individuals from Entities AI Assistant

You can appoint individuals to roles directly from Entities AI Assistant using data from imported documents. When you upload a document, Entities AI Assistant categorizes information for you and suggests actions. You stay in control of all the data and actions, and the AI Assistant handles searching and entry for you.

Entities AI Assistant follows user role and permissions configured in Entities. Your access to information and actions is the same within the Entities interface and the Entities AI Assistant.

Notes

  • Entities AI Assistant is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) feature. For information on how AI features use Entities data, refer to Entities AI transparency notice.

  • This is a beta feature. You may experience limited functionality.

  • AI enhancements are available to clients with the Entities Platform package and clients who joined the Entities AI Early adopter program. For more information, contact your Customer Success Manager.

  • Administrators have access to AI features by default. For regular users, AI features are inactive by default. Before you can use them, your organization's administrator must provision the features for you.

Import and save documents with Entities AI Assistant

You can import documents up to 10 MB in the following formats:

  • PDF

  • RTF

  • DOC and DOCX

Currently, you can upload one document at a time.

  1. From the side navigation, select search AI Assistant.

  2. Select Import & Actions.

  3. Drag and drop the document you want to upload or use the Select files to upload option to open the file browser.

  4. When you upload the file, AI Assistant processes it and displays available actions. For some documents, several actions may be available.

  5. In the Appointment tile, select Review.

  6. Entities AI Assistant displays a side-by-side view of the appointment form with the relevant fields pre-populated with the information from the document, and the uploaded document.

  7. Review the form and make edits, if needed.

  8. When you are ready to save the form, select how to save the event. You can select from the same options as when appointing individuals manually, including saving the event as pending.

  9. When you are ready to action the appointment, in the Appointment tile, select Action.

    Entities AI Assistant displays the result of the action in the Appointment tile.

  10. To view details of the action, select Open results.
