Get entity information from Entities AI Assistant

With Entities AI Assistant, you can get information about your entities, such as companies, individuals, and other entity types, using everyday language.

Notes

  • Entities AI Assistant is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) feature. For information on how AI features use Entities data, refer to Entities AI transparency notice.

  • AI enhancements are available to clients with the Entities Platform package. For more information, contact your Customer Success Manager.

  • Administrators have access to AI features by default. For regular users, AI features are inactive by default. Before you can use them, your organization's administrator must provision the features for you.

Information available through Entities AI Assistant Insights

In the Insights mode, AI Assistant can retrieve and list information from across entities available to you, including:

  • Companies Profile, addresses, industry classifications, directors, shareholders, share classes, pending events, ultimate parent, upcoming due dates, and user-defined fields (custom fields configured by your administrator)
  • Individuals Name, title, occupation, salutation, honours, nationality, date of birth, date of death, previous name, ID, passport, resident in, addresses (all available types), appointments, shareholdings, and user-defined fields

  • Addresses, shares, and corporate relationships Including how entities are connected
  • Pending events and reminders For the relevant entities
  • Documents Document details. Entities AI Assistant provides information about the document, such as name, description, or dates. It does not access the contents of the document.

Entities AI Assistant cannot retrieve the following information:

  • Lists over 50 records — AI Assistant returns up to the first 50 records of a result set.

  • Counting and calculations — Questions that require counting or calculating over your data are not supported.

  • Data libraries

  • Document content — AI Assistant can reference document records, such as details and metadata, but it cannot read or retrieve the content of documents.

Limitations and considerations

  • Simple questions about a company or individual's details return in a few seconds. More complex questions, such as lists containing information about multiple entities, may take up to a minute.
  • AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies. Always verify the correctness and accuracy of AI results.
  • Entities AI Assistant retrieves only existing Entities data. If no data is available for a selected query, Entities AI Assistant will not generate it.
  • You can only access information you have access permissions for. If you can’t access a piece of information from Entities interface, Entities AI Assistant will not be able to give it to you.
