eFiling US (Delaware): Enable eFiling profiles
An Electronic Filing, or eFiling, Profile is required to submit and receive messages from the State of Delaware.
Two default eFiling profiles are provided in Diligent Entities for submissions to the State of Delaware. These are:
- US DE Electronic Filing
- US DE Test Electronic Filing
Both profiles will need to be enabled for testing and live submission purposes.
Note
Additional profiles can be created, if required.
To enable the profiles:
- Navigate to: System Tools > List Manager > Electronic Filing Profiles.
- Select folder icon for the US DE Electronic Filing listing, to open the profile.
The Electronic Filing Profile wizard opens.
- Select the related checkboxes for both the Set profile as active and Set profile as default for Country options.
The profile is activated.
The profile defaults to only US companies.
- Select Next.
The Electronic Filing Details screen displays.
- Enter the Registered Agent, DCIS login, password and URL details (provided by the State of Delaware) into the relevant fields.
- In the Inbound fields, enter the Diligent Entities related detail.
- Select Next.
The Electronic Filing Profile Proxy Settings screen displays.
- If Self-Hosted, enter the necessary proxy details into the fields provided.
- Select Next.
TheOptions screen displays.
Ensure that the checkboxes for the following options are selected:
- Automatic notification of received msgs
- Log all message text
- Record all processing stages
Note
eFiling can successfully be carried out if these options are not enabled. However, it is recommended that they are enabled in order to establish an auditable record of transmissions.
- With the necessary information added to each section, select Finish.
The wizard closes.
The profile is enabled with the relevant settings in place.
