Version history in Scenario mode

You can view the history of moves, removals, edits and additions that have been made to your structure in Scenario mode. You can view what order they were done, and how they affected the entity and the child or parent entities. In Version history, you can also revert to an earlier version of the scenario you created.

This feature is accessed on the lower end of the Scenario mode panel.

View the version history of a structure

  1. In the Scenario mode panel, select Version history or the upward arrow to open the display.

    Tip

The number in brackets indicates how many versions or changes there are. If the number in brackets is 0 there have been no changes to the structure.

  2. Enter the entity name in the Search field to view specific changes made to an entity.
  3. To view the details of changes to your structure, select the History details icon beside the Search field.

The History details window opens to display the changes that have been made to the structure. The changes are displayed in chronological order: First being the most recent with the oldest at the end of the list.

    1. Select the arrow next to the version in the History details dialog to view the details of that change.
    2. Select Export to save a PDF version of all the changes made or Close to close the window.

A PDF will be exported to your device and available in your Downloads folder.

Revert to an earlier version of a structure

  1. In the Scenario mode panel select Version history or the upward arrow to view the previous versions.

    Tip

The number in brackets indicates how many versions or changes there are. If the number in brackets is 0 no changes have been made to the structure.

  2. Select the change you want to revert to. The icons indicate if the change was an edit, move, addition or removal.

    Note

    • The changes are displayed in reverse chronological order: Oldest at the top, with the most recent at the end of the list.
    • Reverting to a version that is not the most recent, will include any changes made after that version.
  3. Select Restore to this state, at the top of the panel.

A Restore to this state dialog opens.

  4. Select OK. Your changes are now reverted and those versions are removed from the view.
