Restricting User Access to Reports

To restrict User Access to certain Other Reports, navigate to:

  • System Tools > User Defined Documents.
  • Select the view, from where you would run the report, that you want to restrict access to, for example, Companies Search View Reports.
  • Open the report and select Next until you reach the Document Details Page.
  • Assign the relevant Access Group from the dropdown menu and select Finish.
  • Remove the access rights to this User Defined Menu in the User Role, noting that if you are using Security Groups which are using the Remove Rights and Continue Roll-Up Security Group option, this access group will need to be selected in order for it to be removed from the relevant User's access rights.
  • Any Users without access to the selected User Defined Menu will not be able to run this report or view any other menus in the same Access Group.
