What is Evidence Hub

Evidence Hub gives teams one governed place to request, submit, review, delegate, and reuse evidence. It standardizes Evidence Record workflows and keeps an auditable activity history for every key action.

Note

Use the term Evidence Record for the core item users create, assign, respond to, and review.

Core product concepts

Use these concepts to distinguish product scope and workflow objects.

Evidence Hub

Evidence Hub is where users create requests, submit evidence, review decisions, and manage access.

Evidence Record

An Evidence Record is the central work item in each collection workflow.

  • It can contain request details, response text, files, labels, and participants.

  • It tracks lifecycle status, decisions, comments, and activity history.

  • It enforces discoverability, readability, and download rules.

Evidence Collection

Evidence Collection is the end-to-end process for obtaining and deciding on submitted evidence.

  1. Define request details in an Evidence Record.

  2. Assign a respondent and optional participants.

  3. Collect responses and files.

  4. Review and accept or reject submissions.

What users do in Evidence Hub

Requesting evidence

Owners create Evidence Records, define requirements, and send requests.

Submitting evidence

Respondents and alternate respondents provide response text, upload files, and submit for review.
