Reviewing, accepting, or rejecting evidence

Use this task when an Evidence Record is ready for review. It explains what owners and reviewers can inspect, how to complete acceptance and rejection actions, and how decision comments affect resubmission.

What owners and reviewers can see

Reviewers assess submission quality using response, file, and conversation context.

Response text

Read the full response to confirm it addresses the request requirements.

Attachments

Preview attached files and verify they support the response claims.

Conversation history

Check conversations for clarifications, constraints, and unresolved issues.

Accepting evidence

Accept when the submission satisfies the request criteria for the cycle.

Adding an acceptance reason

Document why evidence is sufficient and complete.

Setting an expiry date

Set the next review horizon for accepted evidence.

  1. Select Accept.

  2. Enter an acceptance reason.

  3. Set the Evidence Expiry Date.

  4. Confirm the decision.

Note

An accepted record moves to the Archived tab automatically when its expiry date is reached.

Rejecting evidence

Reject when evidence is incomplete, incorrect, or insufficient.

  1. Select Reject.

  2. Enter a rejection reason with clear, actionable comments so the respondent can resolve gaps quickly.

  3. Set a new due date that controls resubmission timing.

  4. Confirm the decision.

The respondent is notified, receives the rejection comments, and can reopen the record to resubmit.

Warning

Only owners and assigned reviewers should finalize review decisions.
