Linking controls
The Controls tab displays the controls linked to an assessment method. Linking controls helps standardize how controls are assessed by applying consistent steps and result fields across control assessments.
Linking a control
To link a control in the Controls tab, do the following:

Click Link Controls.
The Link control panel opens with the list of controls.

Search by name or ID in the Search field, or scroll to find the control, to link to the assessment method.

Filter controls by selecting All, Linked, or Unlinked to refine the list.

Turn on the toggle next to a control to link it. By default, controls are unlinked unless they were previously linked.

Close the Link Controls panel.
The newly linked control(s) appear under the Linked Controls tab. The dashboard on the Assessment methods home page is also updated.
Unlinking a control
To unlink a control in the Controls tab, do the following:

Click Link Controls.
The Link control panel opens with the list of controls.

Find the control using one of the following methods:

Search for the control by name or ID

Scroll to find the control in the list

Filter by selecting Linked controls

Turn off the toggle next to the linked control to unlink it.

Close the Link Controls panel.
