Assigning an Issue owner
When an issue is submitted, a Type manager assigns an Issue owner. To assign an issue, the issue must be in Open status.
-
From the Platform home page (www.diligentoneplatform.com), select the Issue Manager app to open it.
If you are already in Diligent One, you can use the left-hand navigation menu to switch to the Issue Manager app.
-
From the Issue list, select the issue you want to assign to an Issue owner.
-
Select the Manage Issue tab, and then enter the following details in the fields:
Field Description Issue owner Select the user assigned by the parent type or type. If you assign yourself, you become the Issue manager. Severity Select the appropriate severity level: Low, Medium, High, or Critical. Custom levels may also be available if defined by your admin. Issue Due Date Specify the date by which the issue must be closed. Impacted Entities Select one or more affected groups. - Select Assign to assign the issue to the Issue owner.
You are automatically assigned as the Issue manager. An email notification is sent to the Issue owner. - The Workflow configuration dialog displays. As the Type manager, you can continue to configure the workflow or return later.
Note
Managers can reassign an issue at any time, if the issue is in an editable state. Issue owners can request a reassignment, but they cannot reassign the issue themselves.
