Configuring issue types

Configuring issue types allows you to group issues by type to streamline issue management and assignment. Each type can represent a specific business unit or purpose, making it easier to decide which Issue manager should be responsible for a type of issue.

You can assign users to types. When assigned, a user becomes the Type manager and can manage resources such as issue templates, service level agreements, and other information connected to that type.

You can delete a type only if it is not currently linked to any issues with IN REVIEW, REMEDIATION PLANNING or IN REMEDIATION status. This prevents the removal of types that are still used in active workflows.
