Screening third parties
When a third party record is created—either manually from the Screening page or through another system workflow—the platform automatically triggers AI-based screening to assess potential compliance and reputational risks.
Automatic screening initiation
As soon as the record is created:
-
The third party’s status in the Third Parties view is set to Screening.
-
The system launches the AI Screening workflow, which includes: Global Database Check (GDC) and Adverse Media Monitoring.
Manual screening
From the Screening view, add details of the company information, alternate names, and address, select Start Screening. This applies for Unaffiliated screening.
If you only need to conduct a one-time screening, you can initiate an unaffiliated third-party screening directly from the Screening section without creating a partner record. This creates an unaffiliated Third Party record that displays the initial screening results. If you decide to proceed with onboarding later, you can convert the unaffiliated third party into a partner by selecting the Collaboration option.
AI evaluation and status update
After screening, the AI evaluates all results and updates the third party status:
After the screening process is complete, the AI analyzes the screening results using the risk engine formula to calculate an overall risk score. Based on the evaluated score, the third-party status is automatically updated to either Approved (AI-Reviewed) or Pending Review.
When a record is in Pending Review, a reviewer can open the third party profile to view all screening information.
Screening report
The Screening Report provides a summary of findings and organizes detailed results into four tabs:
-
Key Personnel and Principals
-
Connected Entities
-
Compliance Screening
-
Reputation Screening
-
Previous Screening Reports
While reviewing a screening report, the reviewer can:
-
Examine detailed screening results
-
Read AI-generated summaries, risk factors, and explanations
-
Review AI confidence scores (High, Medium, and Low)
-
Approve the third party or manually update its status
-
Navigate directly to the source of the information retrieved
Note
Status changes are allowed even after initial approval.
After the review is complete, the reviewer can mark the screening report as Mark as read.
