Creating Shortcuts to Key Parts of the System and Links to External Websites and Documents
Custom banners and portals can be created by the Administrator in order to provide shortcuts to various parts of the system and links to external websites or documents.
These shortcuts and links can be added to the standard portals and banners, or entirely new ones can be designed. They can be created for the main screen, that is, outside an entity or within entities. You can also create links to be displayed within the Data Library or Incorporations.
- Navigate to System Tools > User Defined Menus.
- Select where you want to display User Defined Menus, for example, on the Main (Master) screen.
- Select whether you want to create or amend Portals or Banners. The Search In dropdown menu is used for this part.
- Use the For dropdown menu to select whether you want to add a User Defined Menu to an existing Portal or Banner, or whether you want to set up brand new ones.
