Sending notifications from BoardEffect Minutes
You can send an email notification about an action item, directly to the assignees. This topic explains how to send a notification from BoardEffect Minutes.
-
To send a notification, first open the Actions tab, then select the arrow next to an action item to view more information in the right-hand panel.
-
Select Send notification to open the Send Notification window.
-
The email addresses of assignees for the action item will automatically appear in the To field, as long as they have an email address on file with BoardEffect. To add more recipients, enter their email address(es) in the "To" field. You can separate multiple email addresses with a comma.
-
You can enter a new Subject, which appears as the subject line of the notification email.
-
The Message field is automatically populated with default text for the body of the email, listing the action item description, the due date (if any), and the assignees (if any). To make changes, select the "Message" field.
-
To send the notification, select Send.
Note
Recipients see “noreply@boardeffect.com” as the sender of the notification. Replies sent directly to this email address will not be received.
Note
The “Send Notification” button for the action item updates to read, “Notification Sent”.
