Using BoardEffect Minutes

Note

The BoardEffect Minutes module is an add-on feature that requires an additional subscription entitlement.

Minutes is a powerful, easy-to-use feature you can use to take meeting minutes directly from the BoardEffect platform. Minutes can be associated with a Meeting Book or you can create new minutes. This topic explains how to access the Minutes module and get started.

  1. To view your existing Meeting Books, first select a workroom, then select the Library tab on top of the page.

  2. Select the Meeting Book name to open the Meeting Book page.

    Note

You can only add minutes to Meeting Books that have been built, not to drafts.

  3. To access the Minutes module from the Meeting Book, select Take minutes on the right side. The Create Meeting Minutes dialog will open, with some fields pre-populated.

    Note

If a minutes document already exists for a Meeting Book, selecting “Take Minutes” will open it, instead of initiating a new document.

  4. To view the Minutes Manager hub (which lists all minutes documents for the workrooms), or to create new minutes, first select Workroom Library to return to the workroom library page.

  5. Select Minutes. The Minutes Manager hub opens.

  6. To create new minutes, select Create new.

  7. You can select a different workroom in the Minutes Manager hub to filter the list of minutes documents to just that workroom.

  8. To open a minutes document, select Open minutes.
