Review Franchise Tax (Delaware) Data Library

Once a Tax Data Request is designated as Received & Accepted, the Delaware Division of Corporation's server returns data that generates a Franchise Tax (Delaware) Data Library record.

The Franchise Tax (Delaware) Data Library record is automatically created, designated active, and is pre-populated with some of the company data required to submit a Franchise Tax Payment.

Note

Once the Annual Report has been successfully eFiled however, the record becomes historical and the Acknowledge Fee Paid field will be populated.

To locate the Franchise Tax (Delaware) Data Library:

  • Navigate to: Data Library > Statutory > Franchise Tax (Delaware)
  • Open the required record by selecting the Folder icon against the listing.

The Franchise Tax (Delaware) Data Library record opens.

  • Scroll through the record to review and ensure that each pre-populated field contains the correct information.
  • Select Edit to add any required information (for example, start and end dates of the fiscal year).

Note

The Additional Tax Information section is used to determine: Existing share capital information, inactivity date (if applicable), and Director/Officer names.

Be sure to check (or create, where applicable) share capital and appointments (for example, Directors) detail is consistent and correct.

Without this information recorded for the corporation, filing of the Annual Return cannot take place.
