What is Review Manager?
Legislation in certain countries (for example, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act in the US) require that companies have internal controls to ensure accurate information about the company and its consolidated entities.
To meet these requirements, Review Manager assures the accuracy and timeliness of your entity data, retains an auditable record of your periodic reviews, and mitigates risk by controlling entity information and reports.
With Review Manager, a designated Reviewer is notified via an automatically created email on a regular basis -annually, quarterly or even monthly- and asked to Review a specific entity (or entities) to confirm that the information is current and accurate. The Reviewer must approve each record to assure accuracy and timeliness. Review Manager then automatically retains an auditable record of the Review, which helps your company to mitigate risk. Reviews can be run on Companies, Individuals, Data Libraries, and Other Entities.
Roles within Review Manager
There are three defined roles within Review Manager: Reviewer, Manager and Administrator. Each role undertakes distinct responsibilities within the review process.
Reviewer
A Reviewer is the User that receives the initial email containing a link to Diligent Entités and instructions on what to validate, then decides whether changes are needed. The Reviewer will have a My Reviews tab that displays a list of Reviews that the User is responsible for responding to.
Manager (of Review Process)
A Manager of the Review Process is the User that initiates Reviews on a set of data to confirm that the information entered into Entités is correct, then takes responsibility to monitor the process. The Manager is responsible for selecting the content that needs to be reviewed by the Reviewers.
Review Administrator
A Review Administrator is a User who creates new Review Setups that the Manager can then initiate for the Reviewers. Entités provides the Review Administrator with a set of tools to customize the Review with Rules and Batches, helping to manage the Review process. A Review can be set up in many different ways. For example, you can set up a Review for a particular country, establish a group, designate the person responsible for managing it, or by a Batch, (etc.).
