Publishing a book

To make a book visible to directors, executives, or other board members, publish it. Once a book is published, all the committee members with access can view it.

Can I update published books?

You can continue to edit a published book, including adding or deleting files and reorganizing the book structure. Remember to republish the book before the meeting takes place to surface updates to directors and executives.

Note

Documents that have not been approved will not appear in the book, even when it's published. For more information, see Approving files

Steps

This section describes how to publish a book.

  1. From the Bookshelf, select Edit on a book's row.

    You are taken to the Build book tab.

  2. Select the Review book tab to view the book as a director would see it.

  3. Select Publish.

    The book status changes from "Unpublished" to "Published".

    Directors who have been given access to it will see the published book on the Home page the next time they sign in to Boards.
