Template tab

The Template tab is where you can create a KPI templates. These templates are a set of KPIs and their corresponding groups, which you can assign to your entire fund or on a portfolio company- basis.

Your account comes set up with a Default Template that you can use or delete as you see fit.

Note

To access KPIs you must be in Admin mode accessed from your profile.

Create a new template

  1. Go to KPIs > Template and select Create New Template.

  2. Enter the relevant fields:

    • Template Name

    • Description

  3. Add KPIs to the new template by selecting the checkboxes with the relevant KPIs in their respective groups at the bottom of the screen:

    • To search for a KPI enter the KPI in the search field.

    • To create a new KPI, select + Create New KPI and add additional KPIs to the KPI Library and Template.

  4. Select Save.

Edit a template or add KPIs to an existing template

Edit a template to add a KPI, change the template name, or update the description.

  1. Go to KPIs > Template.

  2. Select the three-dot icon on the template name bar and select Edit Template from the menu.

  3. Select and deselect KPI groups from the template, edit the Template Name and Description.

  4. Select Save.

Note

If the template is already assigned to a portfolio company in the Status View, removing a KPI deletes the KPI record from the KPI Company page.

Duplicate a template

  1. Go to KPIs > Template.

  2. Select the three-dot icon on the template name bar and select Duplicate template from the menu.

  3. You can do one of the following:

    1. Select Save and then go back and edit the template later.

    2. Update the Template Name, Description, and KPI groups and then select Save.

Delete a template

  1. Go to KPIs > Template.

  2. Select the three-dotted icon on the template name bar, and select Delete template from the menu.

Note

A template cannot be deleted if already assigned to a portfolio company. You can un-assign the template in the KPI Status View. For more information go to Status tab.
