Limited Partnership, Limited Liability Company, and other Partnership entity types
Diligent Entities have introduced support for new Limited Partnership entity types (for example, Limited Partnerships (LP)), Corporate Partnership entity types (for example, Limited Liability Company (LLC)), and other partnerships entity types.
Limited or Corporate Partnerships Feature Settings
Note
System Tools can only be accessed and configured by users with Administrator rights.
To locate the new partnership feature settings:
- Navigate to: System Tools > Systems Options > Features.
The System Options Feature Settings screen displays.
Note
Both the Limited Partnership and Corporate Partnership entity features are disabled by default for existing users, but are enabled by default when shipped.
To enable one of the partnership features:
- Select the checkbox against the partnership's title.
- Select Finish.
The System Options wizard closes.
The partnership feature is enabled for all users in the system.
If it is preferred that one or both partnership entity types remain disabled throughout the system:
- Deselect the relevant checkbox then select Finish.
The partnership entity type feature(s) are disabled for all users in the system.
Search for a Partnership entity
If the Limited Partnership option is enabled, it is possible to search for a limited partnership entity. To do so:
- Navigate to the All Searches screen and select the Partnerships tab.
The Partnership Search screen displays.
Note
A Search can also be conducted from the All Entities, World Search, and Advanced Searches screens.
- Use the available parameters to filter and search for the specified Partnership entity. Alternatively, scroll through those Partnership entities listed beneath.
