Entity History

The Entity History option presents users with a summary view of changes made to an entity.

Entity History is available for all entity types. As compared to the Audit Trail which focuses on events initiated by users throughout the entire application, the Entity History focuses on key changes made to a specific entity.

To access the history of an entity, go to the entity record and select History > Entity History.

Note

Administrators can provide access using the Entity History user role right. This user role right is read-only, so users don't have to be administrators to have access to the entity history.

Events are grouped by month, with the most recent event displaying first. Events can be filtered to display all events, only the events that occurred today, that occurred in the past 7 days, or past 30 days.

Event notes can also be searched by entering text into the Notes field, and results can be ordered by a variety of parameters.

Choosing the More tab provides additional options to refine the search by specified details, by user and enables the user to save searches.
