Regime Records
Regime is a term and functionality that the SMCR tool uses to identify a jurisdiction or country specific regulatory legislation.
There are two types of regimes supported by the SMCR tool: Certification Regimes and Mapping Regimes.
For a Certification Regime, the Individual is always considered the Primary, with the Company/Other Entity being the Secondary. The following Certification Regimes are included with version 1.7:
- United Kingdom: Certification Regime (CR)
For Mapping Regimes, the Company/Other Entity is always considered the Primary, with the Individual being the Secondary. The following Mapping Regimes are included with version 1.7:
- United Kingdom: Senior Managers Regime (SMR)
Filing Records
For Mapping Regimes, there is also a need on the Primary Entity (Company or Branch) to have a Filing Record. When you create a new Regime record, a new Filing Record will be auto-created. The Filing Record is a record that will change over time. New records will need to be created as regulation changes and a new version of the software will contain new filing records.
Note
A Regime Record and Filing Record are mandatory for the Primary Entity.
