Get entity information from 实体 AI Assistant

With 实体 AI Assistant, you can get information about your entities, such as companies, individuals, and other entity types, using everyday language.

Information available through 实体 AI Assistant Insights

In the Insights mode, AI Assistant can retrieve and list information from across entities available to you, including:

• Companies Profile, addresses, industry classifications, directors, shareholders, share classes, pending events, ultimate parent, upcoming due dates, and user-defined fields (custom fields configured by your administrator)
• Individuals Name, title, occupation, salutation, honours, nationality, date of birth, date of death, previous name, ID, passport, resident in, addresses (all available types), appointments, shareholdings, and user-defined fields
• Other entity types Information held against other entity types in your portfolio
• Addresses, shares, and corporate relationships Including how entities are connected
• Pending events and reminders For the relevant entities
• Documents Document details. 实体 AI Assistant provides information about the document, such as name, description, or dates. It does not access the contents of the document.

实体 AI Assistant cannot retrieve the following information:

• Counting and calculations — Questions that require counting or calculating over your data are not supported.

• Data libraries

• Document content — AI Assistant can reference document records, such as details and metadata, but it cannot read or retrieve the content of documents.

Limitations and considerations

• Lists over 50 records — When Assistant returns a long list of results, you can view up to 50 results in Assistant interface. If the answer contains more records, you can download it as a spreadsheet to review all the returned data.

• Simple questions about a company or individual's details return in a few seconds. More complex questions, such as lists containing information about multiple entities, may take up to a minute.
• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies. Always verify the correctness and accuracy of AI results.
• 实体 AI Assistant retrieves only existing 实体 data. If no data is available for a selected query, 实体 AI Assistant will not generate it.
• You can only access information you have access permissions for. If you can’t access a piece of information from 实体 interface, 实体 AI Assistant will not be able to give it to you.

Ask 实体 AI Assistant for entity information in classic 实体

1. To access 实体 AI Assistant, from the Global Banner on top, select Ask AI, or from the side navigation, select the AI icon .

   The 实体 AI Assistant chat window appears.

2. Verify that the Insights mode is selected from the list at the bottom of the chat window.

3. Enter your question in the chat. If 实体 AI Assistant does not recognize an entity’s name, type @ followed by the entity name to select it. You can also ask about multiple entities in one question. You can list companies, individuals, or other entities and apply simple filtering to refine the query. For example, you can ask 实体 AI Assistant for the following: "list all our US entities, including the address, directors, their role, and appointment date."

Ask 实体 AI Assistant for company information in modernized version

1. To access the AI Assistant in the modernized version, go to Dashboard and then select AI assistant.

2. Verify that the Insights mode is selected from the list at the bottom of the chat window.

3. Enter your question in the chat. If 实体 AI Assistant does not recognize an entity’s name, type @ followed by the entity name to select it. You can also ask about multiple entities in one question. You can list companies, individuals, or other entities and apply simple filtering to refine the query. For example, you can ask 实体 AI Assistant for the following: "List all our US entities, including the address, directors, their role, and appointment date."

Download AI Assistant's response as a spreadsheet

When AI Assistant returns information in a list, such as a list of companies or appointments, you can download the full result set as an Excel (XLSX) file. This gives you every matching record, even if 实体 AI Assistant displays only part of the list in the chat window.

To download the results, select Download Excel on the answer.
