Edit your profile

Your profile contains personal security information that may be used to verify access to your account. As part of your initial setup you can register a mobile number, update your password, activate mufti-factor authentication, and set other personal preferences.

Access your profile

1. In your data room go to your profile icon.

2. Select Profile from the menu.

Upload profile picture

1. Under Name select the profile icon.

   The Edit profile picture dialog opens.

2. Upload a picture from your device.

3. Adjust the picture if necessary.

4. Select Save profile picture.

   The picture is displayed on your profile.

Additional personal settings

Setting	Description	Link to article
Name	If your name changes you can update the first or last name registered on the account.
Email address	You cannot change your email address without authorization from your Organizational Admin.	Change my email address
Password	You can update or change your password anytime but you must have your current password. This is not the same as "Forgot password".	Update my password
Mobile phone	You can register a mobile number with your account to facilitate PIN number receipt and Multi-Factor Authentication. You can update this number at anytime.	Register my mobile phone number
Multi-Factor authentication	Activating Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enhances the security of your data room. Before activating this feature make sure you have registered a mobile phone.	Activate Multi-Factor Authentication
Set language preference	Diligent Data Room supports nine languages, and you can set your preferred language if it differs from your browser default.	Set language preference
