Terms and conditions and non-disclosure agreements

As a Data Room Manager, you can require members to sign an agreement before they join your data room. After you activate the policy, members see a legally binding agreement when they sign in. They must confirm they've read and accepted it before they can access the data room. You have access to a full record of all updates and confirmations in your activity report.

After the policy has been activated, the conditions of access will apply to all new and existing members.

• New members must confirm their agreement before accessing the data room.

• Existing members' access will be revoked and they must confirm their agreement before accessing the data room again.

• The Share link feature will be disabled for the data room, and access to previously shared items will be revoked.

Prerequisites

• This feature is part of our Virtual Data Room package and must be switched on at organizational level by your Diligent Support team. To start using this feature contact your Customer Support Manager for details.

• You must be the Data Room Manager for the data room.

• The format of the file you upload must be .docx or .pdf and no larger than 100 MB.
