Resetting a BoardEffect user's login and password

You can manually reset a user's login and password, when they cannot sign in. After you reset their credentials, send a message with their new login and password.

  1. On the BoardEffect home page, on the left-side Navigation Bar, select Directory .

  2. To open a user's profile page, select their name.

  3. To edit their profile, select the arrow on the top left, and then select Edit Profile from the menu.

  4. Select the Settings tab on the top of the page.

  5. Move down the page to view the Account Information and Settings section.

  6. To reset their credentials, enter a new login in the Login field. Enter a new password that is at least eight characters long and contains at least one letter and one number in the Password field.

  7. Select Save.

  8. To send a message, select the arrow on the top left of their profile page, and then select Contact User from the menu.

  9. In the Send A Message dialog box, you can enter a subject in the Subject field.

  10. Enter a message with the user's new login and password in the Message field.

  11. To send your message, select Send.
