Summarizing a book and publish

You can automatically generate concise summary of a visible meeting book that you manage. You can then publish this summary to board members.

  1. From the workroom library, from the list of visible meeting books, select the book for which you want to generate a summary.

  2. On the right side of the meeting book details page, under Summarize Book, select Generate AI Summary.

  3. Select Review and Publish.

    In the AI summary window that appears, you can view the executive and detailed summaries of the meeting book.

    • If you want to make any updates, select Edit, make the required changes, and select Save.

    • If you want to download the summary, select Download.

  4. Select Publish.

Managing book summaries

After you generate and publish an AI summary of your book, you can edit, download, unpublish, and review the citations used.

  1. Navigate to an AI book summary and select Review and Publish.

  2. To make any further updates, select Edit, make the required changes, and select Save.

  3. To download the published summary, select Download.

  4. To unpublish a summary, select Unpublish and in the Unpublish book summary window, select Unpublish summary.

  5. To review the citations used in the summary, select the citation number, for example [1] or [2].

    The app navigates to the section in the book cited in the summary.

  6. After reviewing the citation, select Reopen summary to return to the AI book summary.

  7. If the book gets rebuilt and the summary is out-of-date, select Regenerate AI summary to update the summary.
