Move documents or folders

Move documents securely around your personal or team data rooms. Your permissions in a team room will determine what you can do. Contact your Data Room Manager if you require additional permissions.

Note

You can move multiple items at a time to the same destination folder.

  1. Go to your data room and select the items you want to move.

    • Single item selection Select the item's More options icon to open a menu.

    • Bulk selection Select multiple items using the checkbox, then select Actions to open a menu.

  2. Select Move.

    A Move panel opens.

  3. Choose the destination folder.

    Tip

    • Navigate back through the file path under Choose a destination.

    • Create a new folder in the root folder by selecting New folder. After you select Create, the new folder will appear in your list of destination folders.

  4. Select Move to complete the action.

    A notification appears confirming the items were moved.

    Note

    Where an identical item is found in the destination folder a notification will appear so you can determine how you want to proceed.
