Signing in to Boards iOS

You can access board materials from your mobile phone or tablet. This topic explains how to sign in to your account.

  1. Open Diligent Boards.

  2. Enter the site name and select Continue.

  3. Enter your username or sign-in email and select Continue.

  4. Enter your case-sensitive password and select Sign in.

  5. Enter your authentication code if prompted and select Continue. For more information on authentication methods when signing in, refer to Sign-in FAQ.

  6. If you are prompted to enable Face ID (biometric authentication) for offline sign-in:

    1. Select Yes to set up Face ID and ensure that you can access the site when offline. If you select No, you will be directly signed in but you will not be able to access the site when offline until you enable Face ID or Touch ID. See also Activating Touch ID.

    2. Select Allow to allow Diligent Boards to use Face ID.

    3. After confirming that you can use Face ID, you will be signed in.

    Note

    If you are signing in when offline and are prompted for SMS 2FA, you must authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID. Therefore, it’s important that you have enabled Face ID or Touch ID for offline sign-in. If Face ID or Touch ID is not enabled and SMS 2FA is required, you cannot sign in when offline. There is no fallback to password entry for offline sign-in, only Face ID or Touch ID works. See also Activating Touch ID.

  7. If you are signing in as a single-site user, you’ll be taken to the Home page for that site.

  8. If you are signing in as a multi-site user, you will see the list of boards that you have access to. Select a board to access it. If that board uses a different authentication method to the one that you signed in with, you will need to enter the password for that site.

  9. If push notifications have been enabled for your site, you may be prompted to choose whether or not to allow them. Push notifications are optional and alert you when your administrator chooses to announce new or updated board material.
