Managing books from the Current Books hub

Learn how to publish and delete books from the Current Books hub, as well as how to perform other book management tasks.

  1. To view book management options, select the More options icon to the far right of a book's row.

  2. To make a hidden book visible to others, select Publish. For published books, an Unpublish option appears instead. This option reverts a book to a hidden status.

  3. To update directors about new book content via email, push notification, or Diligent Messenger, select Notify users. For more information, see the Sending notifications page.

  4. To set the book to archived status and remove it from the Current Books hub, select Archive. For more information, see Archiving books.

  5. To copy the book, including its content and properties, select Copy book. For more details, see Copying an existing book.

  6. To edit the book's name or meeting date, select Book properties and select the Book settings tab. This tab also allows you to edit the book's printing permission.

  7. To apply pagination and tab labeling to the book, select Book properties and select the Advanced settings tab. See Applying pagination and tab labeling.

  8. To make the book visible or hidden to only certain meeting groups or users, select Book access. For more information, see Creating a new book.

    Note

    A Custom Permissions icon appears on the book tile if user view access is changed through the Book access menu.

  9. To remove the book from your site, select Delete. Published books must be hidden by unpublishing them before they can be deleted.
