Using the Object library

Audit users can access the Object library from Audit navigation and browse shared objects without requiring Risk Manager or Internal Controls entitlements. Ownership of the source objects remains with the originating application while Audit users can view and use the objects in their workflows.

Accessing objects

You can access GRC objects in the following areas:

  • Audit scoping Select a control name from an Audit scoping workflow to access the related Object library item directly.

  • Control test lists Access shared controls and related objects from control test lists within your audit workflows.

  • Object library navigation Browse the Object library to search for and explore controls, assessment methods, processes, and other shared objects available in the platform.

  • From Object library links When no controls exist yet, use the control library link in Audit scoping to access shared controls from the Object library.
