Meeting Planner – Manage Defaults

Manage Defaults is one of the two options available in Admin Hub > Meeting Planner to create shared meeting settings. It allows you to create shared default settings for meetings in Diligent Entities, thus improving workflow and reducing the number of steps required to schedule a meeting.

To access Manage Defaults, select the Admin Hub icon Admin Hub icon in the Navigation Bar of the home page.

A menu of options displays.

Select Meeting Planner, then select Manage Defaults.

The Meeting Defaults screen displays in three tabs:

  • Details

  • Agenda items

  • Other

Note

The system administrator must add Admin Hub – Meeting Default to your user role rights in System Settings > System Security > User Roles > Meeting Planner in order for you to able to use this option.

On the Details tab, you can set up or change the following default meeting details:

  • Time Zone

  • Company Name

  • Meeting Type

  • Organiser

  • Alternative Organiser(s)

  • Location

On the Agenda items tab, you can configure or change the default setting for the numbering system that your company uses to order the meeting agenda items. The numbering system allows up to five decimal points to order agenda items, with a combination of numbers, roman numerals, lowercase and uppercase letters.

Note

Once the new agenda numbering system is saved here, it applies to all present, past and future meeting agendas created in Diligent Entities.

You can change the default numbering system by updating the Agenda items fields as needed.

Other – Force Watermark

As a security measure, on the Other tab, you have the option to enable Force Watermark when a user logged into the system downloads the agenda as a PDF. If applied, the watermark displays the user ID and the time at which the PDF was generated.
