Review data integrity discrepancies

When data integrity monitoring detects a mismatch between Companies House data and your Entities records, it notifies you of the difference. Review the discrepancies, compare values side by side, and determine whether to update your records.

Before you start

To access data integrity information, you need the following:

• The Data integrity user role right assigned to you by an administrator. Learn more about User Role Rights
• Access to modernized Entities

View data integrity differences

Access data integrity differences from the Compliance page or from a specific company's details page.

To view all discrepancies:

1. In modernized Entities, go to the Compliance page.
2. Select the Data integrity tab.

The list displays the following information:

• Entity name - The name of the company with the discrepancy
• Last updated - When the discrepancy was last modified
• Status - The current status

You can only view data differences for entities you have access rights to view.

Filter and sort data discrepancies

Use the filters and sorting options to find specific entries. You can filter by entity name, date, or status to narrow the list.

View status details

To view detailed information about a specific data difference:

1. In the list, select the data difference you want to review.
2. Review the side-by-side comparison showing the Companies House value and the Entities value for each discrepancy.

Update records

After reviewing a data integrity discrepancy, you may need to update your Entities records to match the Companies House data.
