Generate a B1X Form for Voluntary Revision of Defective Financial Statements

With the B1X form, you can e-file revised financial statements and director's reports.

If a previously e-filed financial statement or director's report needs rectification, a B1X form can be submitted to address the correction.

To create a B1X form:

1. Open the company record and select Data Library.

2. Find and open the Annual Return Ireland (2020) data library record for the previously registered form and select Edit.

3. Find the Type of Annual Return filed? and select the B1X Replacement Financial Statements option.

   The page updates to display the B1 Replacement section above the B1 Attachments section.

4. Complete the B1 Replacement section.

   Enter the submission reference (SR) number of the previously registered annual return into the field provided. Provide the start and end date of the financial period of the submitted B1 annual return. Select the Requires an Auditor's Report to be supplied? option if applicable and if selected, provide the auditor registration number.

5. Select the required attachment options under B1 Attachments.

6. Select Save to save the changes, then Close to close the record.

7. Attach the new versions of the rectified financial statement and director's report in the Forms Attachments (Ireland) data library.

8. E-file the replacement form to the CRO.
