E-file Forms to CRO Ireland

Once you have defined signatories for the form, you can e-file it to the Companies Registration Office (CRO) in Ireland.

Before you start

Make sure the form has signatories defined, if required. Refer to Define a Signatory for a Single Form for more information.

  1. Open the company record and select Documents > Working Documents.

  2. Find the required form and select Open folder icon.

    The Document Details page displays.

  3. Select Other Options and select Efile Document.

    The Efile Document wizard displays and an updating message displays until the process is complete.

  4. Once the process is complete, select Finish.

    On the Document Details page, the status updates to Verified & Queued in the Electronic Filing Details section.

  5. Go to Document Store > Electronic Filing and select the Send & Receive option to send the document you just e-filed to the CRO.

    Note

    Complete this step if the electronic filing profile you use is not set up for automatic send and receive. For more information refer to Enable the Electronic Filing Profile for Ireland.

    The Send and Receive requests an update from the CRO on documents that have already been sent. Notifications are sent to relevant users about the status of forms.

  6. Complete the EF Send and Receive wizard.

    Option

    Description

    Use only EF Profile

    To process messages for a specific e-filing profile, select this option and select the e-filing profile from the dropdown that displays. For more information refer to Set up User-Specific E-Filing Profiles.

    Limit to "my EF messages only"

    Select this option to limit processing to forms submitted by the signed-in user.

    Check EF updates to messages sent

    Select a value from the list to control how far back the system is to look for updates.

    The Efiled Status of the form is updated to Pending Signature.

    An encrypted URL is generated at both the Pending Signature and Submitted stages to access the form on the CRO CORE portal. Go to Document Details > Electronic Filing Details and use the link in Message Remarks to view the progress of the form on the CORE portal.
